This agreement outlines the loan writing fee charged by Mayes Finance Pty Ltd, what it covers, and the conditions under which a refund applies. Please read carefully before proceeding.

We only submit applications we are fully confident in. If your application is declined by the lender for reasons within our control, your loan writing fee will be refunded in full — at our cost. That is how confident we are in every application we lodge.

What the Fee Covers
  • Professional preparation and structuring of your loan application
  • Assessment of your financial position and borrowing capacity
  • Lender selection and product research conducted on your behalf
  • Document compilation, review, and lodgement with the lender
When Your Fee Will Be Refunded
  • Your application is declined solely due to a lender credit assessment decision, based entirely on the information provided at the time of submission and within our control as your broker
When the Fee Is Non-Refundable
  • You choose not to proceed after the application has been submitted to a lender
  • You change your mind, withdraw, or alter your borrowing objectives after submission
  • The application is declined due to information not disclosed prior to or during the application process — including but not limited to undisclosed debts, liabilities, credit history, employment changes, or personal circumstances
  • Your financial position changes after submission and contributes to the decline
  • Information provided was inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading
  • You proceed with an alternative loan product or lender outside of our recommendation
  • The application is withdrawn at your request after lodgement
Your Responsibilities as a Client
  • Provide full, accurate, and complete information at all times
  • Disclose all financial commitments, credit history, and relevant personal circumstances
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your financial or personal situation prior to settlement
This fee agreement is issued by Mayes Finance Pty Ltd, Credit Representative No. 000568690 of Citywide Lending Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence No. 393831). This document is for fee disclosure purposes only and does not constitute a formal credit approval. Subject to Australian Consumer Law and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.
